E-Medhabruti Scholarship Odisha 2018: Online Application Form, Date & Eligibility

The Government of Odisha in Higher Education Department issued a notification issued a notification of online validation of applications for “E-Medhabruti” for the year 2018-19,(Fresh) in respect of students of SAMS / Non-SAMS institutions and renewal of applications for the year 2018-19. Medhabruti Scholarship Odisha 2018 Details

All the students studying at SAMS colleges are hereby informed that for awarding Jr. Merit and Sr. Merit for the year 2018-19 (Fresh), eligible student’s data (those who have secured 60% or more marks) have been listed in the e-Space of the concemed colleges. Facility will be given at the college e-Space for uploading of relevant documents. The principal of the concern college need to login the medhabruti portal for validation of the all displayed records as per the timeline.

The students of SAMS colleges are hereby instructed to submit the following documents in the respective colleges where they are undergoing study.

1. Copy of Resident Certificate / HSC Certificate.
2. Copy of parental Annual Income Certificate issued by the competent Authority ie. the Revenue officer not below the rank of Tahasildar or Addl. Tahasildar.
3. Mark sheets of last qualifying examination (HSC mark sheet for Jr. Merit / +2 / XII mark sheet for Sr. Merit)
4. Bank Account details of student concerned (First Page of Bank account containing account number and IFSC).

Renewal Scholarship
SAMS portal has been activated for online validation of renewal applications for the year 2018-19 at the level of Principal of both SAMS & Non-SAMS educational institutions in respect of all categories of merit i.e. Jr. Merit / Sr. Merit / P. G. Merit / Tech. & Prof. Merit. The following category of student records will be displayed in the concerned Principals log in for online validation. The students need not apply for renewal scholarship.

NB: Online validation by Principal of Concerned Institutions is mandatory for getting scholarship by the eligible students.

How to Apply:

  • Eligible students of Non-SAMS college are advised to apply online by accessing www.medhabruti.org. Only online applications under the scheme will be accept and no request for accept offline applications will be entertained. While applying online, students should upload the scanned copies of relevant documents.
  • After applying online, students are required to submit the printed copy of online application along with relevant documents in the college for validation at the level of Principal.
  • Students of SAMS who secured 60 % marks or more will displayed in the concerned colleges Administrator log in. The Administrator needs to upload the required documents after collecting the same from eligible student.
  • Applicants are advised to be very careful to mention the accurate Bank Account related  information in the specified box of the online application. In case of any wrong entry or mismatch of the S.B. Account & IFSC, this department will not be held responsible for mis-credit / no credit.
  • The applications Mobile no and functional email address must be used for submission of the online application. The status of the application will be informed to the applicant’s mobile number and email provide in the online application.
  • Submission  of more than one application will be summarily rejected. Please ensure that all aspects of the application are correct before the submission. No claim shall be entertained in case of incomplete or non submitted application.
  • Online validation at the level of Institution Head / Principal of Institution is mandatory for release of scholarship amount.
