Collectorate Office Koraput invites applications in prescribed form from eligible candidates for engagement in the following categories of Posts on contractual basis in Ekalavya Model Residential School, Pungar, Dist-Koraput managed by OMTES under ST&SC Development Department Bhubaneswar. The posts are purely on contractual basis.

Remuneration :
The contractual teaching and Non-teaching staff will be paid following consolidated remuneration as per Govt. in Finance Deptt. Letter No. 28090/F, Dtd.22.09.2017. After successful completion of two years of service an enhancement of 10% on initial remuneration and after completion 4 years another enhancement of 10% over the initial remuneration be given. Similarly after 6 years additional dose of 60% over the initial remuneration and thereafter 5% annual increment on the initial remuneration be paid.

General Eligibility :-

(a) He/She must be a citizen of India.
(b) He/She must have passed Class X standard in MIL Odia. In case He/She has not done Odia as subject up to Class X standard, then he/she should have qualified at the single subject Odia Exam. Up to High School standard conducted by BSE Odisha, Cuttack.
Age :
He/She must be below 40 years and above 21 years of age as on 01.01.2019 provided that maximum age limit shall be relaxed by 05 years in case of Candidates belong to the ST, SC Candidates. Age shall be relaxed for Ex-Serviceman as per Odisha Ex-Service Man Rule, 1989. In case of PH candidates, the upper age shall be relaxed by 10 years as per GA Department Notification No. 3368/GEN, dated 27.10.1989 (Odisha Civil Service, fixation of upper age limit rules, 1989) and SEBC Act.

Educational Qualification :
(a) Post Graduate Teacher in Zoology :- 1. He/She must have obtained Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject. Or Two years Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject. 2. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university. 3. Proficiency in teaching in English medium. 4. Desirable : Knowledge of Computer.

(b) Trained Graduate Teacher in Mathematics :- 1. Four years Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; Or Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subjects and B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognised university.
(i) He/She should have studied Mathematics in all three years in graduation with any two subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
(ii) In case of Honours Degree in Mathematics, the candidates should have studied Mathematics in all three years in Graduation with at least 50% in aggregate and any two of the subjects mentioned in point(i).
(iii) B.A. Hons. in Mathematics or B.Sc. Hons. in any subject other than Mathematics are not eligible for the Post of TGT Mathematics.

(c) Trained Graduate Teacher in English :- Four years Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; Or Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subjects and B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university. English as an optional / Hons. subject in Bachelors Degree.

(d) Trained Graduate Teacher in Physical Science :  Four year Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; Or Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subjects and B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognised university. With (i) He/She should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in all three years in graduation with at least 50% marks in each subject. (ii) The candidate with Honours Degree in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics with at least 50% in B.Sc. should have studied other two subjects with at least 50% mark in each of them at graduation level.

(e) Trained Graduate Teacher in Computer Science : B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science or I.T. / MCA from a recognized University. Or ‘B’ level of DOEACC. Or. BCA/B.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized University.

Emoluments & Service Condition :-
The emolument and Service conditions shall be guided as per the provisions of OMTES, ST & SC Development Department vide No. 213 dt.7.6.2018 and Revised Guideline No. 307 dt.28.7.2018 as hereunder :
(i) The engagement shall be made initially for a period of one year.
(ii) The contracts of the candidate may be renewed after completion of one year based on satisfactory performance of the contractual staff on the same term and condition as agreement.

Mode of Application :
Application complete in all respect along with the relevant documents should be sent in a closed cover addressed to the District Welfare Officer, Koraput, PIN-764020 by Regd. Post / Speed Post only so as to reach them on or before 20.03.19 by 05.00 pm. The applications received after due date / Courier Service / By hand shall not be considered.

Selection Procedure :
The selection will be made by the District Selection Committee headed by the Collector, Koraput as Chairman, PA, ITDA, Koraput as Member, Inspector of Schools (SSD), Koraput Zone, Koraput, Dist. Education Officer, Koraput as member, and District Welfare Officer, Koraput is Member Convenor of the Committee.

The Selection Process will be made in two stages. Firstly all the application for meeting all the minimum eligibility criteria will be shortlisted. The shortlisted applications will be ranked and provided a weightage of 50% for academic achievement and 20% for the relevant work experience. Thereafter all the shortlisted applicants fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria shall be called for a Personal Interview in the second stage. The Selection Committee should constitute an Interview Board consisting of District Level Officials and experts in the relevant subject. The personal Interview will carry a weightage of 30%. The candidates securing the highest score in the order of merit will be selected.

The Selection Committee will finalize the candidates based on the order of merit and will prepare a list of final candidates to be engaged contractually including a waiting list of candidates which will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its approval.
The final list of candidates to be contractually engaged under OMTES shall be submitted to the Secretary, OMTES, Adivasi Exhibition Ground, Unit-I, Bhubaneswar, PIN-751009 along with the recommendation of District Level Selection Committee. On receipt of the recommendation of the selection committee, the order of the contractual engagement shall be issue by OMTES.

Enclosures to be attached with application form.
(i) Self attested Xerox copy of certificate showing Academic Qualification with marks along with Matric Certificate.
(ii) Self attested Xerox copy of caste certificate issued by the Tahasildar (in case of ST/SC/SEBC/OBC candidate).
(iii) Self attested Xerox copy of Residential Certificate issued by the Tahasildar after 01.07.2018.
(i) Self attested Xerox copy of valid employment Registration Card.
(ii) Self attested Xerox copy of Physically Handicapped Certificate.
(iii) Self attested recent passport size colour photograph to be affixed in the application form.
(iv) An I.P.O for Rs.100/- (Non refundable) in favour of District Welfare Officer, Koraput other than ST/SC candidates must be furnished. Application without required fees will be out rightly rejected.

Note:

  • The category and the name of post applied should be superscripted bold capital letters on the cover containing the application form.
  • No T.A / D.A will be allowed at the time of verification of original certificates.
  • The incomplete application and application received after due date will be summarily rejected.
  • The Collector, Koraput reserves all the right to cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason thereof.
  • Collector, Korpaut reserve all the right to increase / decrease the notified vacancies on exigency without assigning any reason thereof.
