Title of the Project : “Assessment of adolescent reproductive and sexual health programme in Orissa : Advocacy for intervention strategies.”
No of Post: 1 Post (UR)
Essential Qualification: Three years Graduate Degree in Anthropology / Sociology / Social Work from a recognized university / institute with 2 years experience in public health related works. Desirable Post-Graduate Degree in Anthropology / Sociology / Social Work with experience in health related works and knowledge of computer is preferable. Job Requirements Monthly-field surveys are to be conducted in rural and remote areas in southern districts of Odisha. Community-level data collection on adolescents and healthcare providers, advocate IEC and behaviour change tools to meet adolescents health program goals, computer data entry and analysis.
Age as on 01.05.2013: Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC)
Salary: Rs.23,220/- per month (Consolidated)

2. Name of the Post: Technical Officer-A,(Senior Health Educator)
Title of the Project : “Assessment of adolescent reproductive and sexual health programme in Orissa : Advocacy for intervention strategies.”

Essential Qualification: Three years Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 5 years experience in health education or Three years Graduate Degree in any discipline with diploma in Health Education with 3 years experience in a Govt. recognized institution / organization. Desirable Post-Graduate Degree with experience in handling community health surveys, designing IEC / Health Education materials and campaigns and knowledge of computer is preferable. Job Requirements Monthly field surveys are to be conducted in rural and remote areas in southern districts of Odisha. Design IEC materials, advocate behaviour change tools to meet adolescents health program goals, computer data entry and analysis.
Age as on 01.05.2013 Not exceeding 35 years (Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC)
Salary: Rs.23,908/- per month (Consolidated)
Date of Interview: 08.05.2013 at 3.00 pm

General Condition: The appointment will be the same as for the Project staff for the entire tenure
of the project and no other regular service benefits will be admissible. The candidate will not have any right to claim for any regular employment at RMRC/ICMR.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.
The Appointing Authority has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.

a. Candidate must be a citizen of India.
b. He/She must be a permanent resident of Cuttack district.
c. Candidate must have passed +2 Examination in any discipline or any other examination equivalent thereto.
d. The candidate must not be below 21 years and above 32 years of age as on 1st of January, 2013. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST / S.E.B.C / Women / Ex-Servicemen candidates and 10 years for physically
handicapped persons, who have put in not less than six months of continuous service.
e. Candidate must be of good character.
f. He/she must be of sound health, good physique and free from organic defects, physical and mental infirmity and must be physically fit.
g. Physically handicapped candidates who have the ability for walking, cycling, speaking and writing should only apply for
the post.
h. He/ She is able to read, write and speak Odiya and has passed the Class-VII Examination with Odiya as a language subject or passed the High School Certificate Examination or an equivalent examination with Odiya as the medium of examination in non-language subject or passed a test In Odiya of Middle English School standard conducted by the Education
Department of the Government.
i. He/She, if married, have not more than one spouse living.
j. The candidates must have got his/her name registered in any Employment Exchange of this district on or before the date of submission of application to the Collector.
k. He/she must not have been debarred from appearing in any competitive examination or from holding Govt. Service as
order by any competent authority.
l. No extra weightage shall be given for qualification higher than the minimum qualification prescribed for the post.

There is no application fee in respect of SC/ ST/ PH candidates. Candidates belonging to SEBC category are required to submit along with application an account payee Bank Draft amounting to Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred) only(non-refundable and nonadjustable) drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of Collector, Cuttack payable at Cuttack.
